RegCure – Registry Cleaner

Reading a RegCure review is a good place to start if you’re looking to buy this software program by ParetoLogic.

RegCure is a registry cleaner, a special program designed to scan your computer for obsolete and broken files and either repair them or remove them.

The Windows registry is a central repository where the operating system stores system settings, user data, program preferences, and other related data. In other words, it is like a large filing cabinet.

When you turn on your computer, for example, the operating system goes into the registry and pulls up data related to your profile. That could be the desktop wallpaper you just put up, or a font size change, or even your mouse speed. When you start up a program like Word, your computer goes into the registry to make sure that your zoom is still set at 75% (or whatever you may have set it at) in a print preview style.

Like any filing cabinet, however, the Windows registry can become messy and disorganized. If you un-installed a program recently, for example, some remnants of that program might be left in the registry. Over time these remnants, broken files, and obsolete settings tend to build up. Once the registry gets too big and disorganized, your computer will start to slow down.

That’s where registry repair software like RegCure comes into play.br

Since the Windows registry is too complicated for most users to tinker with, using a registry cleaner is the best option.
This popular title is very simple and user-friendly. When tested, it scanned and found over 800 errors on our computer. RegCure also makes it very easy to adjust startup programs–programs that load themselves when you boot your computer and are often the culprit for long boot times.
Overall I found RegCure to be a good program, well worth the time to check out.

The Results RegCure Reviewbr

Finally we were ready to test the results. We turned off the computer and readied our stopwatches. To our surprise, the computer took only 2 minutes and 44 seconds to boot up, effectively cutting the boot time in half.
The owner resumed use of her laptop as usual, and is pretty happy with the fact that she doesn’t have to wait forever for the computer to boot up. She also reports that the computer runs much faster and she can run more programs at once with minimal slowdown.
Our RegCure review test run went well. We found RegCure to be a safe and effective utility that anyone can use. The program is not free, but you may download the program and run a scan for free. The cost is not prohibitive, and could potentially save you from hassle that comes with dealing with a sluggish, crashing computer. The company, ParetoLogic, does in fact stand behind its satisfaction guarantee, which might ease the minds of some consumers.

Some Concerns RegCure Review

Although we liked RegCure, nothing is perfect. We ran into a little glitch with the customer service when trying to get our program code for the full version for our RegCure review. Everything got cleared up in the end, but we would’ve liked to see the customer service be a bit more responsive.
RegCure doesn’t have as many features as other programs, like PC Tools’ Registry Mechanic. The good thing to come out of this, though, is that the program only packages what is actually necessary. (We thought many of Registry Mechanic’s features to be useless)
Remember, registry cleaners will not fix everything that could be wrong with your computer. It’s not a cure all solution. However, for their intended purpose they work very well.
